For nine years we have been working diligently in New York to improve end of life care and expand choice at the end of life so that all New Yorkers can have a peaceful and dignified death. Our patient support team provides excellent counseling and advocacy services to the terminally ill and their family members to ensure that people are able to die on their own terms.

Compassion & Choices of New York is a nonprofit organization. We help patients and their loved ones face the end of life with calm facts and choices of action during a difficult time. We are aggressively pursuing legal reform to improve pain care, working to ensure that advance directives and end of life wishes are honored and actively educating the public and professionals about the importance of legalizing physician aid in dying.
